Isabel Haya completed her Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of San Jorge in Zaragoza, Spain, and has dedicated her career to paediatric physiotherapy, neurodevelopment and family-centred care. She gained extensive professional experience between 2014 and 2021 working in private practices, early intervention centres, specialised schools and home-based rehabilitation services, treating both children and adults with a wide range of neurological, orthopaedic and developmental conditions.
She further expanded her expertise through postgraduate education, obtaining an Expert Diploma in Paediatric Physiotherapy, a Master's Degree specialising in Advanced Breastfeeding Management, and a Specialisation in Respiratory Therapy. In addition, she completed advanced training in evidence-based paediatric physiotherapy, babywearing ergonomics, physiotherapy during breastfeeding, and the Bobath concept for paediatrics, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of infant and child development.
Isabel has extensive experience working with babies from birth and with children presenting neurodevelopmental conditions, neuromuscular disorders and complex physical disabilities. Her clinical expertise also includes orthotic management, positioning and mobility aids, respiratory physiotherapy and early intervention strategies to support motor development and functional independence. She completed clinical training at the internationally recognised NAPA Center in Boston, where she gained experience with intensive neurological rehabilitation approaches, including the CME method and NeuroSuit therapy.
Since moving to Switzerland, Isabel has worked in both a specialised education setting and a hospital environment, providing physiotherapy for infants, children and adults. Her professional approach combines evidence-based practice with hands-on clinical experience, placing strong emphasis on collaboration with families to optimise each child's development and well-being.
